Week 4: Exciting / Interesting Findings

Our findings this week mainly lied in the exploration of different possibilities for the direction of our project. For the most part, these findings have taken place in the form of finding and researching products that address a similar problem statement as ours. However, another interesting finding was the different ways in which each of us in the team imagined a possible product or solution to our problem statement. We were told to brainstorm different products based on methods such as functional decomposition, and all of us came up with different possibilities. This, too, was reflected in how we interacted as a team after we determined what "type" of team member we were. The combination of finding out more about each other, as well as coming up with a variety of ideas, allowed for a more efficient way to go about addressing our problem statement, and should make future meetings of our team much more productive.
